Hybrids are just that – a hybrid of an iron and a wood. They are much easier to hit than long irons from any lie, but especially from the rough or fairway bunkers. They create ball flight that is higher and lands softer, giving you more opportunities to get the ball close to the hole on your approach shots. Many professionals and millions of amateurs have added these clubs to their bag in the last few years. Hybrids come in a variety of lofts to replace the clubs you have trouble hitting. Come learn how to hit a hybrid and test out some of the latest clubs at this special event, hosted by CGC Staff Professional and Certified Clubfitter Karen Walker. Or, if you already know how to hit a hybrid but want some tips on how to hit them better, come to this event. Free event, range balls included, no sign-up needed. Just come to the CGC Custom Fitting Center on the north end of the range. Call the pro shop with any questions: 760-720-GOLF (4653) |
