Private Instruction

chuck_anderson_teaching_junior.jpgLet's face it, golf is a difficult game. It challenges, frustrates and gives us pure joy…usually all in the same round. We all love the feeling of succeeding and having fun at golf, which is why we practice and play.

Golf perfection is unattainable, but game improvement is not. Take lessons to gain confidence for your next golf outing…if you have the desire, you'll have the ability.

Whatever your current level of skill, from beginner to low-handicap, professional golf instruction is your ticket to improvement and shaving strokes off your scores.

CGC's group of experienced PGA and LPGA golf instructors provide the perfect mix of patience, positive reinforcement and a sense of humor to make learning fun.

See box at right and click on each individual instructor photo to read their bio.

See chart of rates and instructor availability for private instruction.

Practice alone only grooves your bad habits and makes them permanent. It is better to learn the proper fundamentals from the beginning, as it is much easier to learn the right way than to "un-learn" the wrong way.

Take lessons and learn to:

* Hit it long and straight
* Change your trajectory of ball flight
* Cure your hook or slice
* Get out of sand and trouble shots
* Reinforce correct swing mechanics
* Putt with more consistency and accuracy
* See your swing compared to PGA and LPGA players
* Eliminate mental mistakes on the course
* Practice properly and effectively
* Hit from uphill, downhill and side-hill lies
* Manage your game on-course

Video Lessons:

Depending on the instructor, private lessons may include video at no extra cost. See individual instructor bio to see if they use video so you can compare your swing to PGA and LPGA Tour players and review your swing to see the areas where you need improvement. With video, visual learners can immediately start to correct swing faults while working with a their instructor.

Juniors Lessons: See rate chart

Most of our instructors teach juniors at a reduced rate, with the recommendation that children be at least 5 years old before receiving formal teaching. Inquire about beginner group sessions and weekly drop-in classes for juniors.

Make your own group: See rate chart

Grab a few friends or family member for semi-private lessons on your own schedule. You'll have someone to learn with, play with and help you remember what you learned. Plus, you'll save money by taking lessons at the same time.

Post-lesson practice:

Taking lessons at a driving range just makes sense. After your lesson you can immediately set to work implementing all that you learned.

TESTIMONIAL FROM CUSTOMER

From Pastor Tom of Fallbrook, CA
(19 miles from CGC)

I wanted to write and thank you for all you have done to interest my daughter in golf. She loves it! She is on the Varsity Girls Golf Team at her H.S. and is doing well. For only playing since August she has shot a number of scores in the mid 40’s... not bad! Thanks for setting her up with clubs. I'm indebted to you for your graciousness.
