QUICK TIP:
PLAYING IN WINDY CONDITIONS

This time of year the weather presents another challenge with windy conditions. Here's a tip to help you hit the ball with more control and accuracy in the wind:

Many players feel they need to swing harder when the wind is blowing in their face. However, swinging harder merely causes you too put more spin on the ball and hit it even higher than normal.

The goal is to keep the ball flight low when hitting it into the wind. To accomplish this: put the ball further back in your stance and keep your hands forward. Use a longer club than normal and swing easy.

Remember the old saying "When it's breezy, swing easy!"
