Golf research studies have shown that if you learn good swing fundamentals from the beginning, you will have more golfing success sooner and have more fun.
So, if you have you been attempting to teach yourself or if you're "lucky" enough to have a friend or significant other trying to help you -- our advice is to stop what you've been doing and seek professional instruction before you build bad habits that are hard to break.
The less time you spend building muscle memory of bad fundamentals or trying to manipulate ball flight with clubs that don't work with you, the less time it will take to re-program your brain - and the faster you'll be having more fun on the range and on the course.
Taking a lesson or class with a trained teaching professional is the best way to develop strong fundamentals. Not only can they help you learn to swing and putt correctly, but they'll also help you evaluate whether your equipment is keeping you from hitting it straight or far.
CGC's team of fun, experienced and knowledgeable PGA & LPGA professionals are available throughout the day every day to help you enjoy the game of golf. There are no "stupid" questions and it's never too late to learn to play better, no matter your age or skill level. Several of our instructors offer video lessons to help you see your swing.
We offer a variety of instruction and clubfitting programs, read more:
Plus, check out the ALL-NEW Golf-Fit Fitness Program with Sheri Hayes, an 8-session early morning or afternoon class for swing and fitness circuit training beginning April 28.
And, take advantage of a special
Golf-for-the-Animals April lesson program with Dori O'Rourke to save you money AND raise money for 3 local animal shelters.
