The Golf Mart at Carlsbad Golf Center
Ever since 2003 we have continuously looked to grow and improve the golfer experience at Carlsbad Golf Center and today is no different. We've listened to you and repeatedly heard you cherish more choice, more options, more opportunities to shop "Golf" and so we looked for the best way to deliver on your needs!
Beginning August 1, the pro shop and custom club fitting will be operated by The Golf Mart. They’ve established a leadership role in serving San Diego County for decades. We welcome them to CGC because we know they’ll take care of you in the way to which you’re accustomed to at our facility.
The CGC team will continue to operate the range and practice facility, and provide golf instruction, as we retain ownership of the entire golf center property.
Both companies will do their best to make this a smooth transition for you. We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience and appreciate your patience as we get everything worked out.
Thank You for your patronage of the CGC Pro Shop over the years. We appreciate the trust you put in us and in our team to take care of you. You’ll see most of the same friendly faces in the pro shop and around the range, and get the same continued great service and selection.

- What is changing?
- You now purchase range balls, range cards, rental clubs and snacks/drinks, and schedule lessons with staff instructors at the new Range Office on the south end.
- You go to the same pro shop for merchandise, club fitting and club repair. It’s just now operated by The Golf Mart with all their selections, guarantees, policies and customer appreciation programs.
- I have a fitting scheduled?
- Your fitting appointment remains the same. The Golf Mart plans to retain the knowledgeable team of club fitters we’ve had for years. If you need to change your appointment, call The Golf Mart at (442) 244 4767
- I ordered equipment, fitted clubs yesterday, last week?
- Your equipment purchase is on the books and will be delivered as promised. The Golf Mart will honor all prior CGC warranties and guarantees. If you have any issues with your merchandise purchase, please call come in the pro shop or call The Golf Mart (442) 244 4767.
- My clubs are in the repair shop, now what?
- They’re still there and will be repaired as scheduled. Pick them up in The Golf Mart pro shop.
- I have a lesson scheduled, now what?
- All our instructors are continuing to serve your golfing needs. Please contact your instructor to make sure their schedule hasn't been altered due to the change (which is quite unlikely).
- I have purchased a gift card, is the card still usable?
- CGC Gift Cards remain redeemable for any merchandise or service on the CGC property.
- For range balls, range cards, instruction with staff instructors, food & beverage, and rental clubs: bring your gift card to the Range Office at south end.
- For merchandise, club repair and custom fitting: bring your gift card to The Golf Mart pro shop on north end. They will honor and redeem CGC gift cards.
- CGC Gift Cards remain redeemable for any merchandise or service on the CGC property.
- Are hours changing?
- Range hours remain the same: Daily 8am to 9pm, Wednesday 10am to 9pm
- The Golf Mart Pro Shop has revised hours from the previous schedule
- 9am to 7pm Monday thru Friday
- 9am to 6pm on Saturday
- 10am to 5pm on Sunday
- I want to return some merchandise?
- The Golf Mart will honor returns of merchandise purchased from CGC as long as you provide the receipt within 30 days of purchase and the item(s) are current and in new condition. The Golf Mart will honor all prior CGC warranties/return policies.
- Will you continue to have Demo Day, Drop in Classes, MSOP, other events?
- Yes to all. Our goal is to further enhance your experience at Carlsbad Golf Center in its totality. See the event calendar on the CGC website for all scheduled events/classes or check with The Golf Mart in the pro shop or the Range Office.
- Did you sell or gave my email address to The Golf Mart?
