Chip Bridges

Chip Bridges’s career includes working for the Ben Hogan Company as his representative on both the LPGA Tour and PGA Tours for nine years.

Following that, Chip operated seven championship golf courses for a major Master Planned Community developer in California. This led to Chip consulting to other developers for their design and construction needs; golf courses, clubhouses, and maintenance facilities, along with their respective operational guidelines.

In north San Diego County, Chip owned and operated the Advantage Short Game School for five years.

Chip, during his playing days, has an untouched record of having played with 23 members in the Golf Hall of Fame. He became inspired to pass along and share this learning experience with his many students.

Chip’s real talent is identifying the small adjustments that make the big scoring differences for skilled players, and the important guidelines for beginners and recreational players.

Most recently, as a Director of Player Development, at a 36-hole private CC, his coaching inspired a group of players with Parkinson’s disease to follow an outlined procedure that increased their level of confidence and grew their ongoing participation in, and enjoyment of our sport.

Some of Chip’s areas of expertise include the following:
-Providing a solid foundation for beginners
-Junior instruction to learn proper basics before their bad habits become ingrained
-Proper swing adjustments for recreational players
-Guidelines for learning how to practice effectively
-Teaching other professionals and scratch players the difference between a “Great Golfer” and a “Great Player”!
